OD Certified Consultant Program (ODCC)

The Organizational Development Advanced Certification Program is for those individuals interested in advancing their professional skills in the field of OD. The Advanced OD certificate program will help you achieve competency in the field of OD.

Requirements of the program:

• Complete ODCP Program
• Attend the 4 day ODCC program
• Demonstrate experience in the field of OD as a consultant
• Demonstration of the Action Research Model
• Demonstrate Experience in the OD Practice areas
• Complete a literature review of key topics in the field
• Demonstrate OD tools and intervention models
• Complete five Client Coaching Sessions
• Complete five case studies
• Participate in client interventions

Participants seeking their advanced certification in ODCP will attend a four day program to demonstrate their proficiencies in the field of OD. The ODCP program provides the foundation to prepare you for you final certification. You will demonstrate your skills as a consultant and facilitator in a variety of activities, ranging from leading groups, coaching individuals, in basket exercises, case studies, and leading group activities. In addition, you will complete a final assessment exam.

The Objectives of the Advanced OD Certificate Program:

• To establish standards of professional practice so practitioners and service-users know the performance standards with regard to competency and ethical behavior.
• To provide quality assurance to practitioners and employers/clients, learners and other stakeholders that the knowledge, skills and practice of the Organizational Development professional meet published standards.
• To recognize the credibility, respect and professional status of the certified OD practitioner.
