Two OD Manager positions located in Arizona and Maryland. Both roles are global and support a specific client group ranging from 1600 to 5000 employees. The client is a $30 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader employing 100,000 people in over 75 countries. These positions are in the aerospace business unit which has approximately 41,000 employees in 100 locations around the world with annual revenues of $12 billion.

Basic Function
The Senior Managers of Organization Development will lead, cultivate and implement all organizational development processes and activities for a specific client group. Working closely with the senior business and human resources leaders, they will provide leadership in the area of strategy alignment and deployment, change management, team development, organization design, cultural change, talent management and learning.

Scope
One Senior Manager of Organization Development will support the Customer Service and Product organization consisting of 1600 employees in 15 locations worldwide. This position is located Arizona.

The other Senior Manager of Organization Development will support a Technology Services organization, an $800m service business focused primarily on government contracts. There are over 5000 employees in this division located worldwide. This position is located in Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key point of contact for Organization Development and work with the business and human resources leaders on all organization design, strategy development and deployment, systems alignment and learning activities.
  • Support the business and human resources leaders in building leadership capability within the organization through the company‚s standardized talent management process.
  • Support Organization Development actions throughout the corporation. Drive change management, business and cultural transformation efforts.

Knowledge, Skill, Experience and Key Leadership Characteristics

  • 7 + years Organization Development/Effectiveness experience in a large, fast-paced, results-oriented, brand name company with a demonstrated history of success in leading change and driving process excellence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of organizational design and development, change management, talent management and learning concepts, tools and methods.
  • Bachelor‚s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required. Advanced degree (MA, MBA, PhD) is preferred in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Training and Development, MOD, Human Resources or Business.
